Nature cannot be planned

Somewhere in the autumn I stopped to give our cat contraceptives. According to my calculation we would have kittens around Christmastime so we could enjoy them in the holidays and before the summer they would have gone to there new homes.

Every now and then I felt on her stomach and I was sure she was pregnant. Her stomach was huge. I went to the vetenarian who explained that Izzy just had a lot of food in her stomach.

Hahahaha. Nothing happened at all.

People explained to us that catladies are in heat in springtime, around March. A new calculation showed: probably the kittens (if any) will be born in the beginning of the summer and can leave their mother, well, when the schools start again.

Hahahaha. We will have to spend our summerholiday at home. So be it. We have accepted the sour facts. Kittens will be a lot of fun too. And we might travel somewhere in the autumn.

Look here what is going on around our house: our cat is the one in the front. Will her boyfriend become a father in a few weeks?
